Choosing a school which will provide the best education for your child is one of the most important decisions that a parent has to make.
Welcome to the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities page. In this section you will find out how we identify children with SEND and the provision that we put in place to help meet their needs.
The Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator for the federation is Mrs O Gibbons. If you have any questions about SEND then please do not hesitate to come into school and speak to her.
The SEND Information Report has been written as a response to the Local Offer and this outlines what we provide as a school to all children with an
identification of SEND.
All useful information is reviewed and up-dated on a regular basis. Additional Information will be added here once each review has been completed.
North Yorkshire County Council has published their local offer for children and families from 0-25. This outlines what is available for children and young people with SEND in our Local Authority.
All schools are required to provide information to parents on how to seek additional support beyond that which is ‘normally available’ for their child.
The main aim of the local offer is to enable families to see readily the support they can expect locally without having to struggle to find the information.
The North Yorkshire Local Offer can be found here.
